Business Relations
There are various conceptions about business—that business people differ from those engaged in other activities; that business goals, standards, and ethics are sometimes questionable; or (if the people doing the conceiving happen to be in business themselves), that any conduct which is not conventionally "businesslike" is of uncertain worth! The misconceiving—whatever form it takes—is essentially the basic misconception that life is mortal and material or that many minds are striving and competing for their interests, their portion of good, and their place in the sun. Error begins with plurality and the belief that the expression of life is separate from its Principle, God, who is Life.
For those engaged in business it is therefore refreshing to learn in Christian Science that the answer to the challenges not only of business but of all relationships lies in the basic relationship of man to God.
The operation of divine Principle is the only law and the only activity, expressing itself as indivisible good. Man is the individual expression of this law and activity.
