With deep appreciation for the healing efficacy of Christian Science I submit this testimony.

Over five years ago I was ill with chest inflammation and a cough, and was taking medication from a doctor who had treated the children and me for a number of years. Instead of the condition improving, it grew worse, and I was unable to eat or sleep for several days. It was at this point I ran out of medication. My extremity proved to be God's opportunity.

My husband, a student of Christian Science, was unable to get a doctor in the area to take me as a patient. The doctor's suggestion was to take me to a hospital emergency room for treatment. As I had been admitted to hospitals on an emergency basis before, I became frightened and refused to go.
