Upgrading Mental Treatment
From the moment of our first steady glimpse of scientific truth, we can begin to heal.
Nevertheless, healing in Christian Science signifies much more than recovery from sickness. It involves a quickened spiritual sense and more concordant living, less self-concern and more universal love. When we rest our spiritual treatment on more scientific grounds, both the narrow and broad aims of Christian Science healing are gained more directly and spontaneously. New students of Science and experienced ones can heal more effectively. To be progressive, we ought not to be content with present results of our prayer or treatment, no matter how worthwhile.
Alternatively to oversatisfaction with present healing abilities, we're sometimes drawn to feeling we once healed better than we do now.
