I shall always be grateful for having been led to transfer my employment from the English South Coast to a Midland town, for this was where I first came into contact with a family of Christian Scientists. I was very impressed by their way of life, and when I was invited to attend a church service and a Wednesday testimony meeting, I was happy to do so.
During my stay in this home I met a young woman who later became my wife. She accompanied me to a Church of Christ, Scientist, and we decided to make this religion our own way of life. We have had many blessings in over forty years of happiness.
My first healing was of laryngitis, a condition that had troubled me as a boy and a youth. This was quickly and permanently healed with the treatment of a Christian Science practitioner.
