God's Answer Is Already Here
"It shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear." Isa. 65:24; What a comforting and inspiring promise we have in this verse from Isaiah! We can apply its spiritual insight in solving every kind of problem that confronts us.
Before Christ Jesus called for Lazarus to come forth from the tomb, he thanked God, saying, "I knew that thou hearest me always." John 11:42; This was certainly a statement of absolute faith in an ever-present, always active, and all-powerful God. Before the evidence of death was overcome, God was acknowledged as having already answered Jesus' prayer. Before Lazarus made his appearance, Jesus knew that the healing had taken place.
How did he know? He knew because he understood that God is Life, and that therefore death is not what God creates. As the perfect, spiritual idea of God, Lazarus was, in reality, reflecting eternal Life, was protected by Life, and could experience nothing unlike Life.
