How Love Cares for Its Own

We can welcome each new situation that confronts us as an opportunity for demonstrating spiritual being. When we live our lives on the basis of Spirit's reality, life is filled with enduring triumphs rather than discouraging defeats.

God has provided us with the means of solving problems even before they may present themselves. That wonderful means is divine intelligence, which frees us from the limitation and confinement of the shell of mortal concepts and material falsities. Mrs. Eddy gives us clear direction. She writes: "Mortals must emerge from this notion of material life as all-in-all. They must peck open their shells with Christian Science, and look outward and upward."^{Science and Health, p. 552;}

We can in confidence turn to and depend upon divine Principle to guide and sustain us. Christian Science teaches us how we can do this through prayer. When answers are needed they come from pure Mind or Truth. These answers appear at the doorstep of individual consciousness. As we're receptive to them they give us direction and bring healing. They are the evidence of the Christ, Truth, at work. They are the means whereby God meets the needs of humanity.
