Living Our Gratitude

As we let affection, compassion, meekness, and thanks to God persistently grow within and transform our thought, we naturally cultivate a grateful attitude; we live our gratitude.

Gratitude is not just words. It is feeling—deep, heartfelt thankfulness. It is loving God and turning to Him with joy and gladness. It is a continuing spontaneous response to what our heavenly Father gives. He who has wholehearted trust in God experiences peace and happiness within.

To keep our gratitude, we must increasingly express it—live it— by being helpful to others and by glorifying God in everything we think and do. The Psalmist sang: "I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. I will be glad and rejoice in thee." Ps.9:l,2;
