I would like to testify to some of the many experiences in our family in which Christian Science has proved effective. After attending a Wednesday testimony meeting with a friend, I became interested in Christian Science and later joined a branch church.

At the time I was introduced to Science, I met a young woman who became my wife. In the first year of our marriage she had a difficult pregnancy and nearly passed on. In my limited knowledge of Christian Science I humbly prayed to God, and my wife recovered. Later we were blessed with three children, and we now have ten fine grandchildren. Christian Science has blessed our happy family in innumerable ways.

During the Second World War, due to regulations of the Government, the company that employed me was refused a license, after enjoying a fine reputation for a century. I was working on this problem with the prayerful support of a Christian Science practitioner. We were then able to have the case reopened. My company applied again for a license, and it was granted. This enabled the company to stay in business
