The demonstration of the Christ Science requires more than mere faith because this Science is based on a fixed Principle, perfect God. It needs to be understood.

In order to understand the Science of eternal Life, Spirit, as Christ Jesus taught and demonstrated it, we must study the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.

Christian Science is not mere faith healing, but the application in human affairs of the divine Principle of man's being. To demonstrate Science it is not enough to be familiar only with its letter, although under certain circumstances it can encourage the sick and increase their faith.
