God healed my ankle because He is Love and loves me a lot; and since He loves me, He doesn't allow anything that could pain me. And Hymn No. 51 says that Mind fashioned an altogether perfect being (see Christian Science Hymnal). Because the child of Hymn No. 51 means everybody—me, too—God fashions me, and so I am without swollen ankles or pain. I thank God for healing my ankle.

Gabriel is my five-year-old son, who attends the Christian Science Sunday School, and who hurt his ankle while playing on the stairs. He was crying because he thought he wouldn't be able to attend the Sunday School that was about to start that Sunday. It was then that I suggested to him that we sing the hymns he likes so much—numbers 51, 298, and 293.
