Teddy-An Agent for God
Teddy's favorite game is playing secret agent, like the ones he sees on television. He has a magnifying glass, and pretends that the cat is his assistant. They think up all sorts of adventures.
Teddy built a fort in the yard out of odd pieces of wood his father gave him and that is "headquarters." He and the cat "talk" on the pretend telephone Teddy has made. Teddy even made identification cards for himself and the cat, fingerprints on one and paw prints on the other. It is a lot of fun being a secret agent, outsmarting the enemy agents.
Early one morning Teddy learned to be a different kind of agent. An agent for God. It happened when he woke up with an upset stomach. Then Mom and Dad were awakened by a sad Teddy. As Teddy got in bed with his mom, she said, "Teddy, did you know you are an agent for God?"
