I would like to share a healing of crime and lawlessness
I would like to share a healing of crime and lawlessness. After five homes were robbed in ten days during the month of December, 1970, in the subdivision in which I live, I knew I must do some specific praying about this situation.
Families residing in the subdivision were gripped with fear, each wondering who would be next. Meetings were held, which the police were invited to attend. Theories were advanced as to the best methods of protection. It even seemed unwise to leave our homes. This was especially true on weekends, when residents left to go shopping or for some other reason.
After my next door neighbor was robbed, I became very fearful, and could hardly bring myself to leave my home after dark, anticipating the worst when I returned.
