Radio Broadcasting
As we continue to strive to achieve our Healing Goal—"To strengthen the healing thrust of our movement, thus improving our ability to respond to the needs of mankind by spiritual means"—it has become evident that changes need to be made in our outreach via radio broadcasting.
While fruitage reports resulting from our long-running, Sunday morning, fifteen-minute series, "The Truth That Heals," have been numerous and heartwarming, the fact remains that most of the public are not listening to radio at that time.
In addition, contemporary radio broadcasting practice has developed new, shorter formats, broadcast at varying times throughout the week. In order to enable our Film and Broadcasting staff to research and develop programs that can present our unique spiritual message in forms compatible with today's broadcasting programming, production of "The Truth That Heals" was completed some time ago. Reruns of this popular series may continue to be broadcast on public service (free) air time in some areas.
