It was in February, 1944, that my first testimony of healing appeared in The Christian Science Journal. In the intervening thirty years I have had many more healings through the application of this scientific system of prayerful treatment. Some were through the help of Christian Science practitioners, others by my own prayerful efforts. Among them I recall protection from accidents on one-way logging roads, a severe case of pyorrhea, and a healing of mumps.

The latter healing occurred at a time when I had been teaching and in daily contact with more than one hundred students in the classroom and on the bus. The prayer that healed me included recognition of God's care for all of His ideas. The others were protected, as there was not another case of mumps at this time in the county.

One healing for which I am most grateful taught me wonderful lessons in patience and the knowledge that a Christian Science healing is complete.
