I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for the blessed teachings of Christian Science, which bring Christ Jesus' life and works so close to us. How my life has changed since knowing of Christian Science! This divine Science offers comfort and healing for everything.

Two years ago I had a badly sprained foot. The weather was beautiful, and the children wanted very much to go for a walk with me. So I went for two hours through woods and fields. Upon our return home I still had things to do. Then my foot became very painful. I wondered how I would manage, for the next day was church. The day after there was something planned for noon, and in the evening there was a meeting. When I was in bed a passage from Isaiah comforted me (40:31): "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." These words had a wonderful effect. Immediately I felt relief from the pain. The next morning my foot was as new, and I could meet all the obligations that I had during those days.

Mrs. Eddy says in Science and Health (p. 3): "Are we really grateful for the good already received? Then we shall avail ourselves of the blessings we have, and thus be fitted to receive more."
