In 1935 I took up the study of Christian Science, becoming a member of The Mother Church and a branch church in 1938.
Some of our five children attended the Christian Science Sunday School. And so have some of our grandchildren and two of our great-grandchildren. For many years I had the blessed privilege of teaching in the Sunday School, and I am very thankful for it, and for much church activity.
I am grateful for class instruction, and for many healings—some through the help of Christian Science practitioners, others through applying my own spiritual understanding. I was healed of severe stomach trouble when the practitioner who had been treating me assured me I was healed if I would accept the healing. I said, "I will," and dismissed the practitioner. The healing came the next day.
