Why Wait for Freedom?
Each moment can be an open door to overcoming the mortal belief of impaired activity. One can open this door by opening his thought to this dynamic realization: God is the all-acting controller of man and the universe. Each moment can bring the deeper understanding of man's unbroken perfection. Each one, in reality, is the spiritual expression of God, who is omnipotent good and the unvarying, continuing cause of all real existence.
No matter what problem may be facing us, the answer can be found by turning to the all-knowing, all-acting divine Mind for direction. Regardless of what may claim to impair usefulness, nothing is beyond God's corrective law of harmonious activity. Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, writes, "There is no excellence without labor; and the time to work, is now." She adds, "Be active, and, however slow, thy success is sure: toil is triumph." Miscellaneous Writings, p. 340;
If our activity seems impaired, it is important to let go limitation in thought. Thinking filled with fear of what the physical body can do to us, or with skepticism as to our ability to prove our God-given dominion, can never shed limitation. Once we see fear and doubt as powerless illusions, we can proceed effectively. How?
