The Christian Science periodicals have been especially useful in these confusing times, for illumination, comfort, and, of course, healing.
A recent healing I now acknowledge was the removal of a disfiguring growth on my lower cheek or jaw. It was never painful, but always in the way. I expected a healing, knowing the difficulty did not come from God and therefore was unreal. I used the Bible, and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, looking up references on growth.
This statement from Science and Health was inspiring (p. 463): "A spiritual idea has not a single element of error, and this truth removes properly whatever is offensive." The growth gradually broke away and left no mark.
