The Support of the Christ
When under heavy business pressure recently, I turned from the demands being made on me to listen for the sustaining and enlightening ideas God is ever bestowing on His divine creation. On a flight home after a busy day I laid aside the papers I was working on to express silent gratitude that God would supply all needed inspiration, support, refreshment.
As I thought along these lines and looked out the aircraft's window at the beautiful view of the earth and clouds, the phrase "so far above all mortal strife" came to mind. These words are from the poem "Christmas Morn" by Mrs. Eddy:
