Words cannot express the deep happiness I feel as I contemplate the protection and healings I have experienced during several decades of learning more of Christian Science. During many years as a pupil in the Christian Science Sunday School, I relied solely on prayer to God for my health needs. At the end of these years the effectiveness of this prayerful upbringing was shown in a statement made to me during a medical examination, which was a university entrance requirement. I was told that whatever I had been doing to keep in such good health I should go on doing.

I am grateful for direction in choice of employment and in marriage. As my concept of these grows more spiritual, they give more and more happiness. I'm grateful that my wife and son have had their health and happiness preserved through complete reliance on this religion. Our son has been healed of several so-called childhood diseases, earache, effects of falls, and many other conditions.

I am most grateful for healings of difficulties in human relationships. Once when, over an extended period, I was unjustly accused I was led by what I found in a religious article in The Christian Science Monitor to say something that at the time seemed to me irrelevant. However, it led to an instantaneous reversal of the stand of my accuser. Many other times difficult situations have been healed just by my expressing a little love or humility.
