Expect the Best

There is actually no reason why we cannot be enjoying the best things in life. If we are not, it does not mean we are victims of circumstances or were born under an unlucky star or that fate has designated us as sure losers. It just means we are unaware of our true spiritual heritage as children of God, at one with the best of everything.

And what we need to do to experience some tangible evidences of this divine heritage is to acknowledge with conviction that we are the image and likeness of God, totally spiritual, in full possession of everything necessary to give us health, happiness, and abundance right now.

Thought is externalized in human experience. Human life unfolds only as widely as one's thinking. And no event takes place merely as a matter of chance. But the limited thinking and externalization of mortal consciousness, the belief of a power other than God, is but a mesmeric process. It is an illusory mental state claiming that matter is the motivating force of one's life, governing and controlling it, when actually it is not. And this false concept must be emphatically denied reality.
