Energy Crisis: The Real Solution
What has Christian Science to offer in helping to solve the various crises confronting us, including the so-called energy crisis? The power of spiritualized thought—thought awakened to the spiritual facts of being.
Thinking based on a material sense of things is unaware of spiritual reality and its power. It is unable to grasp the importance of many events recorded in the Bible, and conveniently concludes that the day of these "miracles" is past. Christ Jesus' feeding of five thousand with five loaves and two fishes is only one of such events. (See Matt. 14: 15-21.) How did he do it?
Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, speaks of Jesus as the master Metaphysician. What does she mean by this? One finds the answer only in some understanding of divine metaphysics, which excludes matter and recognizes Spirit, divine Mind, as the source and substance of all that really exists.
