Christian Science has been my way of life all my life
Christian Science has been my way of life all my life. For this priceless heritage I am more grateful each day.
Three years ago I took a teaching position in a middle school at a time when positions were scarce. I was told that although this was a "special" class, it was an opportunity for great personal reward. Frankly, I felt grateful to find a job.
The first day of school revealed just how "special" this class was. The classroom itself was half of a regular classroom, with no books and no supplies—just eleven stunned and angry boys labeled emotionally disturbed and culturally deprived. Never had I been more challenged to put into practice immediately the truths of spiritual being I had sometimes taken for granted.
