I wish to testify to the wonderful healing power

I wish to testify to the wonderful healing power of prayer, the Lord's Prayer.

As a small child I had many illnesses and became very frail and was a great care. A severe case of scarlet fever left me in a weakened condition, and in time I completely lost my eyesight. My mother took me to many doctors and to specialists in Denver and Chicago. Each time after an examination of the condition had been made she would receive the same report: "There is nothing that can be done to restore the loss of the child's eyesight."

Very discouraged and saddened by this last and final analysis, we returned to Denver and went to the house of a very dear friend. This friend listened as my mother told her about my eyes, and then said: "I know nothing about it, but I hear there is a new religion here and it is said to heal. It is called 'Christian Science.' You might like to inquire about it."
