WHATEVER
"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning" (James 1:17)
Thankful for
whatever's gleaming
behind that shadow
in the past
welcoming
whatever's glinting
round the corner
of the future
celebrating
whatever's here
clean and timeless
in the light
I'm learning
loving whatever
gleams from behind
glints from ahead
to suddenly meet
within the invariable
one
glow of now—
the gift of forever
forever in
the Father's timing
my being
unfolds
lightwise
Love's ways—
holds
no shadow
of turning
whatever
