TRY TO SEE
You have walked away from a lot of things,
but you never can walk away from Truth,
that's a sure thing;
Try to see:
it's not out there
somewhere,
in another mental atmosphere,
but here
within you.
Make it your own,
earn
discern
your sonship
with Him.
Sometimes what you say
may ricochet,
but Truth will stay;
it will have its way.
Sink so low?
Need to grow!
Trouble is
you never looked
straight into those books:
search every nook and crook,
see the brook
clear, pure, sure.
