I am thirteen years old, and I would like to give a testimony of a healing of a broken nose I had five years ago. I wanted to show my brother an airplane model I had built. I stood on the back of a chair and reached for the top of the big chest of drawers in my room to get the model. When I was reaching up, the chair tipped, I fell, and my nose hit the footboard of the bed.

My nose began bleeding a lot, and looked like it was crushed flat. My mother and dad were downstairs and had heard the loud crash. They called our friend who is a Christian Science practitioner right away to pray for me. As soon as we had done this, the bleeding stopped. The practitioner helped me know the truth of God's presence with us. My mother and dad and I read from the Bible, and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I knew God was taking care of me.

My nose became swollen, and was very big and spread out. It hurt a lot at first, but soon the pain went away. I was able to sleep well that night. The swelling went down each day until the nose became normal size and shape within a few days. By the end of a week a complete healing had taken place, and I was able to play outdoors. My friends couldn't believe I had ever broken my nose. It was perfectly okay.
