In my eighty-ninth year, and after a half century of experience in Christian Science, I can testify that this religion is most practical in meeting human problems. Through it I have been cured of many physical, mental, and social discords.

This was accomplished through gaining a better sense of the real man in God's image and likeness, as the Bible and Christian Science teach. Through this understanding, drinking and smoking lost their hold on me, never to return.

In a testimony published over thirty-five years ago in the Christian Science Sentinel I told of being healed of chronic headaches and colitis of three years' standing, both medically considered incurable. These healings came about by my own prayer or with the help of a Christian Science practitioner, and they have been permanent.
