Children Can Heal—Katie Did!
Katie and her family lived in the suburbs. All four of them—Mother, Father, Katie, and a baby sister. Katie was a great help with Beth, her sister. She would often help Mother by placing the baby in her high chair, or taking her from the playpen. Sometimes she would even fold the baby wash from the clotheslines. Mother could really depend on her. And Mother and Katie were learning to depend on God.
For two years now they both had been going to the Christian Science church. They were finding out that God is always right here with us. Always loving us, always ready to help. They were learning that because God is All, evil is nothing, just not real. This is what Christian Scientists mean about knowing the truth. As Christ Jesus told us, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 8:32; Katie remembered this.
One time in the middle of the night Katie's mother became very ill. She tried to get down the hall to a room where she could pray quietly. But she wasn't able to make it. She fell to the floor with a thud!
