I wish to express my gratitude to God, for Christ Jesus, and for Mrs. Eddy for the wonderful evidence of God's saving and healing power I have experienced through the application of the truths taught in Christian Science.

The following instance of healing has meant very much to me. One Sunday morning in mid-December, about eight years ago, when my son and I were on our way to church, we were hit broadside by a car that had run a stop sign, and I sustained internal injuries.

I called a Christian Science practitioner, and he spent two hours with me that afternoon. He reminded me I was maintained and sustained by the divine Principle, God, and could not for an instant be separated from God. He told me to stick to the truth, which I did, and then I was able to be peaceful and calm.
