Talents Fully Utilized

The stuff of which every one of us is made includes talent. The Divine Being, God, expresses Himself in individual man, and each has the inherent capacity to show forth in an individual way what Being is.

Paul, in the Bible, spoke of "diversities of gifts."^{I Cor. 12:4;} Some, he said, are able to express the one Spirit, God, as prophets, some as teachers, some as healers, others as interpreters of tongues. And he said, "We are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building."^3:9; ...

Spirit, God, is infinite Mind. Man is Mind's infinite idea. Individual man expresses the limitless nature of Mind in limitless expression of talent. But false belief would limit each of us, insisting that we are finite, material personalities depending for our talents upon our material, biological inheritance. Then this belief goes further and declares that even if we have inherited talents, our freedom to use them is limited by our environment and upbringing.
