Promotion Comes from God

"The effective executive focuses on contribution," states Peter Drucker, an authority in the field of good business management. "He looks up from his work and outward toward goals. He asks: 'What can I contribute that will significantly affect the performance and the results of the institution I serve?' " The Effective Executive by Peter F. Drucker, p. 52;

Many people active in business at all levels in an organization are interested in improving their opportunities to be more effective, to make a better contribution and to assume larger responsibilities. Naturally, they want to be promoted.

However, too often business men and women find that they cannot be certain of steady progress, and they find themselves the victims of events or organizational moves beyond their control. Business people need to establish in their experience a greater sense of sureness that their careers are constantly supported and furthered by God's laws. Read in the light of Christian Science, the Bible provides constant inspiration as well as the assurance that the man of God's creating derives his capacity, intelligence, and activity from God. It shows that God is always supporting all His creation.
