Bounce Back!
We all have had experiences that shove us around and sometimes leave us, physically and figuratively, flattened. We want to bounce right back, but it all seems just too much.
But is it really hard to bounce back? A rubber ball does it no matter how slight or how hard a blow it has received. What is the secret of the ball? Isn't it its inner substance that gives it resilience? People have an inner resilient substance, too, their consciousness of the Christ, the true idea of God. Whether we know it or not, we all possess this spiritually mental substance impartially and without finite limits.
Now, Jesus understood this and expressed the buoyancy of Truth better than anyone, and so we call him Christ Jesus. He was rejected, misunderstood, threatened, abused, betrayed, tortured, and crucified, and yet nothing could stop him from continuing to be about his Father's business with dedication, spiritual zeal, and understanding.
