War Cry
Major H. D. Marshall (Ret.) in the Salvation Army War Cry Chicago, Illinois
Man is amazing! Gadgets which see in the dark, sensors which detect an unseen presence, machines which sniff, and satellites photographing every spot on earth with unbelievable accuracy have made concealment virtually impossible. We smile, shake our heads, and marvel at the cleverness of man.
Strangely enough though, when man ... reads, "Your sins will find you out," he tends to reject the statement. He tries to qualify it with meaningless contentions that God is too good, too tender, too loving to hold man accountable for his deeds and misdeeds.
