Many blessings have come to me and my family through the study and application of Christian Science. One healing for which I am very grateful was the healing of paralysis on one side of my face. This affected my facial expression, and the sight of one eye was blurred.

I asked a Christian Science practitioner for treatment through prayer, and I devoted every moment I could to the study of the Bible and the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. From this study I knew I was progressing spiritually and that the sign or healing must follow as I gained a better understanding of my unity with God. As I stopped looking at the material picture and leaned on God, my fear was alleviated. Within a few days normalcy began to return, and restoration was soon complete. With great joy and humility I could smile again.

We have had many proofs of God's care in our prayerful application of Science to school problems and in times of illness or injury. Supply for needs has been found through turning to God, and there is improved disposition. But foremost is the progress in spiritual understanding gained through our daily study of the Bible Lesson in the Christian Science Quarterly.
