It has been fourteen years since my testimony was published in The Christian Science Journal, October, 1958. Since that time I have had many further proofs of God's care and the reliability of Christian Science.

I am particularly grateful for the healing of an internal disorder that was accompanied by pain, weakness, headaches, and nausea. This problem persisted in varying degrees of intensity over a period of about three years. On separate occasions I was helped by three different Christian Science practitioners, each of whom gave me inspiration and helped to meet a specific phase of the problem.

During this time I continued to take care of the needs of my household and to serve our branch church in various ways, but to do this it was necessary for me to spend many hours in bed resting, and studying the Bible, Mrs. Eddy's writings, and the Christian Science periodicals. I am grateful for the cooperation and patience of my husband who, although not a church member, regularly attends Sunday services with me, and for the encouragement of my mother and sister, dedicated Christian Scientists who live in cities distant from me.
