Friends
David was a friend.
He saved his people from a giant of a man called Goliath
who was making them afraid.
The King's son, Jonathan, loved David
because of his goodness and bravery.
He asked him to be his very best friend.
He gave David his own royal clothes.
And Jonathan said to David,
"The Lord be between me and thee ..." I Sam. 20:42.
Because Jonathan
was the King's son,
when David was in trouble
Jonathan was able to
help him just as David
had helped his people.
