I wish to express my gratitude to God for many blessings. I did not come into Christian Science for healing alone, as I was seeking something better. When I went shopping, I would pass by a Christian Science Reading Room, and soon I found myself stopping to read citations from the Bible Lesson shown in the window. I did this for some weeks, until one Sunday morning I decided to go to a Church of Christ, Scientist. There I finally found what I had been looking for. That was many years ago.

I offer this testimony of healing as further proof of the supporting and guiding influence of the Christ, Truth, in our daily affairs, as understood through the study and demonstration of Christian Science.

One morning while doing my housework, I stooped over to pick up something, and when I tried to straighten up, I could not move without great pain. When my husband came home, he called a Christian Science practitioner, who began prayerful treatment. It seemed that my sacroiliac was out of place, and I was in bed for two days. The second night I was awakened out of sleep with a strange feeling in my body, and I felt something slip into place. Then my whole being was filled with warmth, and I lifted my thought to God and said, "Thank You, dear God." I fell asleep for a while, but was again awakened with the same strange feeling. I felt the other side go into place, and again my body filled with warmth. So I lifted my thought to God in thankfulness again. When I awakened next morning, I arose quite free, and got my husband off to his work. That was seventeen years ago.
