WORD RETURNED
Isaiah 55:11, 12
I
went out with joy.
Peace led me forth
and I heard the hills singing.
As the songs from the mountains
echoed, reechoed and died away,
there came a clapping of hands
swelling into crescendo,
sustained and maintained
by the trees, by the glad trees.
With peace and with joy
I walked the fields,
listened to songs,
heard the applause,
knew the reward of living Love's laws.
