Newspaper Inspires Good Deeds

All of us can cultivate this quality of penetration in everything we do—when reading The Christian Science Monitor, for example. This newspaper's reporting of national and international news, its feature material, and its advertising service help fulfill a necessary function in our society. As we read, we can plunge below the surface news and find its spiritual objective to benefit humanity.
When I was trying to get a deeper understanding of the Monitor's role in relation to my own experience, a sentence from Mrs. Eddy's book No and Yes came to my thought: "Prayer is the utilization of the love wherewith He loves us." No and Yes, p. 39;
