The power of God, divine Love, to meet every human need has been proven many times in my experience in the past thirty-seven years. I am grateful to have had the privilege of attending the Christian Science Sunday School for about six years. I had several devoted Sunday School teachers who made the truth practical and showed us how to use it in our daily living.

One day in Sunday School the subject of teeth came into the conversation. The teacher said that belief in the necessity of decay could be overcome through Christian Science because it was no more true than belief in the necessity of a headache. I was glad to hear this because at that time I was having extensive work done on my teeth. The dentist had said that by the time I was twenty-one he was sure I would have false teeth, because my own were very soft and had hardly any roots. The Sunday School teacher's remarks inspired me to pray diligently to see the perfect man of God's creating.

Each day as I brushed my teeth I turned my thought away from the concept of matter and repeated "the scientific statement of being" from the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, thinking of what it meant. I still do this. This statement ends with these words (p. 468): "Spirit is God, and man is His image and likeness. Therefore man is not material; he is spiritual." I am grateful to say that the great improvement at that time continued. Recently, when I went to the dentist, the work that was done was on the false teeth that had been put in before I learned this way of praying in Sunday School, which was about thirty-five years ago.
