[Ability to demonstrate Christian Science comes with study and practice of the truth taught by Christ Jesus and revealed in Science and Health. This series touches upon some ways in which this truth can be applied.]
Healing by comprehending the "male and female" created by God
God is the one creator. He is both Father and Mother of the universe, and man is God's complete reflection, including all the highest qualities of manhood and womanhood.
The fact that, according to Genesis, "God created man in his own image, ... male and female created he them," Gen. 1:27; indicates that man is, in reality, complete and perfect. No individual lacks manhood or womanhood, and these are not two people in balance, but one idea reflecting infinite Mind, Principle, Love.
The fact that God is both Father and Mother indicates that God understands, supports, protects, loves, is just, wise, pure, perfect.
