Encounter on Campus

One evening while I was walking over to the Christian Science college organization meeting, an angry voice shouted to me: "Hey, soul sister! Don't you agree that white man's religion must go?"

A gentle thought from the Bible came to me: "A soft answer turneth away wrath." Prov. 15:1; I smiled at my black brother and kept walking.

Instantly the voice became a face. A young man stood before me, demanding with brutal words that I not be indifferent to his question.
