As a child I became a member of an orthodox church
As a child I became a member of an orthodox church. I did not hear of Christian Science until I was in high school and began dating a young man who was being raised in a Christian Science home. He later became my husband.
From my very first knowledge of this religion, I loved it. It was exactly what I had always believed, and it was consistent with the teaching of Christ Jesus (John 14:12): "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater workes than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father."
Our third son was born a so–called blue baby. The doctor who delivered all of our children said he might outgrow the trouble but there was very little hope.
