Not long ago, listening to the lovely old evangelical hymn of the story of Jesus, sung in a far–off little island church, I found myself thinking, "Yes, I too love to tell the story, the story of Jesus the man—the man who has done more to help humanity than any other man who ever lived.
Just what is the difference, I asked myself, between the second great commandment and the new commandment that Jesus gave to us?
One of Jesus' most important commandments was, "Heal the sick.
This phrase is repeated in different languages and coin thousands of times each day.
It is natural for Christians to celebrate the anniversary of the birth of Jesus.
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
When you are asked by someone who is ill to pray for his healing and you agree, you have a problem.
