"To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings," Mrs. Eddy writes in the opening of the Preface to Science and Health. How many times I have proven these profound words of truth. I recall some very specific instances when such leaning has truly demonstrated the infinity of God.
Christian Science has been my source of help from the day of my birth over sixty years ago. Christian Science came into our family through a complete healing experienced by my father after the doctors had given him no more hope. He was healed through the consecrated help of a Christian Science practitioner of a severe case of tuberculosis.
As a child, I was healed many times through the prayers of my mother alone. On one occasion the school doctor decided I was to be sent home and not return until I had glasses for weak eyes. Prayerful treatment in Christian Science was started at once, and in a matter of a few days I returned to school without glasses. After reexamination by the same school doctor my eyesight was pronounced normal.
