Several years ago I was washing the ceiling and walls in a kitchen, and while washing a door in the room, I used a small stepladder. The middle of the ladder gave way, causing the ladder to upset. My foot and leg went down inside the ladder as it upset on its side.

I was taken to my daughter's home. I called a Christian Science practitioner on the telephone for a Christian Science treatment. My son-in-law took me to have an X-ray picture taken of my foot. The X ray showed that the bones on top of the foot were crushed. The practitioner continued to give me treatment, and through this prayerful reliance all the bones on top of the foot went back into place, although I did not know just when this came about. In just a few weeks I was able to go back to work again. I am grateful for this Science that teaches us to rely on God for healing, for the practitioner who gave me treatment, for Christ Jesus, and for Mrs. Eddy.

I would also like to express gratitude for the birth of two of my children without pain under Science treatment, and for God's guidance, through understanding prayer, in raising my children.
