Never Quit!
There is a story about a man who attempted to break a large stone with a sledgehammer. After several dozen hard blows the stone was still intact, and he was at the point of giving up in discouragement. A friend happened along at that moment and asked if he could have a try. He hit the stone twice, and it fell apart.
All it needed was two more blows! But unless his friend had appeared on the scene, he would have quit, never realizing how near victory he was.
Stubborn problems are common enough in human experience, but without exception there is a solution to them all. The great need is staying power, the willingness to persist until the solution is found.
