Mary Baker Eddy, speaking of the healing effect of Christian Science, writes on page 162 of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, "Secretions have been changed, the structure has been renewed, shortened limbs have been elongated, ankylosed joints have been made supple, and carious bones have been restored to healthy conditions." I have proved this statement to be true.

I was crippled with a condition of tuberculosis in my left ankle and right elbow, and walked about on crutches for nine years. I was healed through Christian Science in 1927, and my testimony was published in the Sentinel of February 1, 1930.

I became a registered football referee in 1932, and I am grateful to say that at the age of sixty-six I am still an active referee. I have been able to put into practice the truths we are taught in this glorious religion of Christian Science.
