With joyous gratitude for the blessings I have received from the study of Christian Science and the many healings I have experienced through the years, I submit this testimony.

My first healing many years ago was that of a very dull feeling. No medicine ever had any effect on me because I never believed in it. I went on a five-month trip to Europe, which I was advised to take, but came back to the United States in the same condition as when I left. I then visited a Christian Science practitioner and received instant relief; but the healing did not stay with me. I then took up the study of Christian Science. I had no other way, and after two years I was free. In Science and Health Mrs. Eddy says (p. 228): "There is no power apart from God. Omnipotence has all-power, and to acknowledge any other power is to dishonor God."

My second healing was that of constipation which had been a problem since childhood.
